But they can take forever to dry once washed, especially if you are avoiding using the tumble dryer.

Fortunately, a cleaning whizz has revealed their top tips to keep your jeans fresh and get them dry in no time at all.

Fabric expert Shadmaan Kader at Poundametre shared his budget-friendly hacks so that you can wear jeans throughout the winter months.

"Washing your jeans inexpensively is all about being mindful of resources and using cost-effective methods," Shadmaan said.

And it's good news for those who hate washing their jeans as he reveals you should only be washing them after twelve wears or when visibly soiled.

To begin with, the fabric pro revealed his top tricks to washing the jeans without them fading.

He said you should always try to spot-wash jeans to get rid of any stubborn stains and turn them inside out before placing them in the washing machine.

Washing your jeans in the machine should be done on a gentle cycle with a small amount of detergent and go through a cold water spin to remove any excess soap that could effect the material.

He told the Express: “After hand washing or using the washing machine, roll your jeans in a clean, dry towel to remove excess moisture before air-drying. This speeds up drying time.”

You can also save yourself time by not ironing your jeans and instead hand pulling the creases out while they are still wet.

For those who want to avoid washing their jeans all together, try placing them in a plastic bag and leaving them in the freezer overnight.

Shadmaan reveals this will remove any nasty odours while saving you money by not putting the washing machine on.

A professional dry cleaner revealed his top tips to make laundry so much easier as well.

He revealed you should always use a cold water cycle on clothes and minimal detergent as clothes are rarely that dirty.

The cleaning whizz added a hot water wash should be seen as a power wash and only used for soiled items, not all the time.
