This Morning viewers ‘switch off’ as they urge ITV to ‘bring back’ co-stars
This Morning viewers have admitted they were "gutted" to switch on the ITV show to see that Josie Gibson and Rylan Clark weren’t on the sofa.
The pair hosted together last week – the latest in a series of presenting partnerships following the departure of long-term hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, and went down a storm with viewers. Many declared them “a breath of fresh air” and said it just felt "right" and that they wanted them on the sofa full time.
However, their stint together came to an end and this week fans turned on their televisions to see Craig Doyle and Rochelle Humes hosting. Both have been making regular appearances on This Morning and have been very popular with viewers.

Some were thrilled to see them, but others were so taken with the Josie/Rylan pairing that they were unimpressed. Several took to social media to share their thoughts, pleading with ITV to bring the stars back.
One wrote on X: “Sorry but I prefer Rylan and Josie.” “Gutted to find Josie and Rylan gone!” agreed someone else.
“Rylan and Josie were the ideal presenters,” wrote another viewer. “Brought some class and warmth into the show. Keep them on #ThisMorning.”
Another fan urged: “MAKE THEM PERMANENT PRESENTERS!!!!! Come on This Morning we know you read these!!!"
After Josie and Rylan wrapped up their run of shows together, there were even those who said they would be switching off. One fan posted: “I definitely won’t be watching again until they’re both back on, absolutely brilliant together.” They added the hashtag “#itjustworks” to the message.
This Morning used to be hosted by Phillip and Holly, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary taking over on Fridays. Phillip left in May after admitting to having an affair with a younger colleague, which he described as “unwise but not illegal”.
Holly stepped down in October after a man was charged in relation to an alleged plot to kidnap and murder her.
