Married at First Sight UK groom looks different with longer hair in old snaps

Married at First Sight UK star Nathanial Valentino looks completely different years before appearing on the E4 reality show.

The 36-year-old star quit the programme after learning his wife Ella Morgan was texting another groom behind his back. He dramatically left the social experiment during an explosive dinner party which ended with several cast members at each others throats.

It came to light that Ella had been messaging JJ Slater, who was married to Bianca Petronzi, and the revelation sent shockwaves through the group. Ella and Nathanial and Bianica and JJ all left the experiment but Ella and JJ have since returned to the show as a couple, leaving some of their co-stars furious.

Nathanial may no longer be on our screens but it hasn't stopped fans from flicking though his old snaps on social media, in which she can be seen looking almost unrecognisable. Viewers are used to seeing the reality TV star sporting short curly hair and wearing stylish outfits.

However, on his Instagram page, he looks very different with his hair styled in a man bun and a silver septum piercing. He has also met a number of famous stars over the years and in the throwback snaps he's seen posing with pop stars Rita Ora and will.i.am and his former Geroge Shore co-star Charlotte Crosby.

Since leaving MAFS, Nathanial has claimed that he was "talked into" tying the knot with transgender bride Ella. He told the Mirror that the show is a "complete shame" and claimed couples are manipulated by "goblins" who provoke conflict between the newlyweds. Nathanial revealed that he quit the show early and said that show bosses have no interest in the couples finding true love.

A spokesperson for Channel 4 said: “Nathanial entered this process voluntarily with full and informed consent, and in this instance was actually provided with more information than we would ordinarily share with cast members, to make him aware that his bride was trans. The matching process entails a detailed interrogation of every participant’s preferences and none of these would be overlooked when deciding who to pair them with.
