JON Kay and Sally Nugent have signed off from their final show ahead of the festive period.

The BBC Breakfast presenters anchored their final show together before Christmas.

As usual they brought viewers the latest news from across the country, while Carol Kirkwood was on weather duties.

Ben Boulos was also live from Birmingham following the latest stats on inflation being released.

However, this will be the final time BBC Breakfast fans will see Sally and Jon on the sofa before the New Year.

Sally, 52, brought the glam for her final show as she rocked a stunning leopard print suit, while Jon, 53, looked dapper.

Jon Kay previously revealed he will be on hosting duties for Christmas Day alongside fan-favourite Carol Kirkwood.
