Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn ‘to join’ I’m A Celeb to ‘spill the beans’

DWTS: Jamie Lynn Spears dances the Cha Cha

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is returning to screens next Sunday, and while no official names have been confirmed, there are many spiraling on the rumour mill – including Jamie Lynn Spears.

Britney Spears’ younger sister has been in a publicised feud with her for years.

Since leaving her conservatorship, Britney accused Jamie Lynn of not supporting her enough.

The Disney star claimed she didn’t know the extent of what Britney had endured.

It’s now thought the mother-of-two could be joining the hugely-anticipated ITV reality show this year, according to reports.

An insider said: “Jamie Lynn has got decades of history and bad blood with Britney to rake over and has laid out her feelings pretty clearly in her own book.”

Speaking to The Mirror, they continued: “It will be interesting to hear her spill the beans about her life and her family and the controversial conservatorship – and to find out whether the sisters really do get along now – or not.”

Express.co.uk has contacted ITV for a comment on the speculation.

In her recent memoir, The Woman in Me, Britney labelled her sister a “total b**ch” for her behaviour during her years-long conservatorship with their father.

A flood of speculated names have been mentioned in reports regarding this year’s series.

Among the famous faces thought to be heading to the Australian jungle are Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford, This Morning’s Josie Gibson and Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson.

Nigel Farage is also thought to be joining the show after last year’s series saw former health secretary Matt Hancock taking part in the programme.

Politician turned broadcaster Nigel has not ruled himself out of this year’s line-up, teasing he has, “an existing Australian visa.”

His name has been linked to the show for several weeks now and he did nothing to quell the rumours speaking on GB News.

His remarks come as the first celebrity alleged to be taking part in the ITV show appears to have touched down in Australia.

Rumoured contestant Frankie Dettori was confirmed to be Down Under as he was pictured at the Melbourne Cup Preview.

Could Jamie Lynn be starring in the series alongside Farage?

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV on Sunday, November 19.
