Love Island’s Jess and Dom – from meeting on reality show to private countryside life

While many fail to find love on Love Island, there have been some successful love stories to come out of the ITV2 show including Dom and Jess Lever.

Dom, 32, and Jess, 30, both appeared on the third series of Love Island in 2017 and while they only had a short time in the villa together thanks to Jess' brutal dumping, they defied the odds and immediately rekindled their romance as soon as Dom left the villa.

Now, over six years since their stint in the famous villa, the couple's relationship is still going strong and they've recently celebrated their five-year wedding anniversary.

Jess and Dom married in 2018 in a secret ceremony on the Greek Island of Mykonos, despite having only met one year earlier. There were only 22 guests present at the intimate ceremony, which was covered exclusively by OK!

At the time Dom revealed to us: “People said we wouldn't last but now we're husband and wife. We're proof that when you meet the right person, there's no need to hang around.”

Jess added: “I always thought it was a cliche when people said: ‘When you meet the one, you know’, but it's true. I knew we'd be together forever from very early on."

In May 2019, Jess and Dom announced they were expecting their first child together, and later that same year their son was born. Just under two years later, the couple revealed they were expecting again and welcomed their second baby boy in June 2022.

While their two children regularly feature on their social media profiles, Jess and Dom have never publicly announced either of their sons' names.

When asked why they chose to keep the eldest son’s name private, Jess previously explained on an Instagram Q&A: “I just don’t feel the need to atm [at the moment],” before saying “this might change”.

She continued: “I mean, if you know me personally then you would know my child’s name and I obviously use it in public when I’m with him but yeah. Im sure 99% of my followers are nice normal people but there are some weirdos in the world.”

Jess, Dom and their two children now reside in Devon – where Jess grew up – in a gorgeous family home, which has undergone an extensive renovation.

The pair tend to keep their home life private, but have occasionally shared clips of their stunning countryside abode, which boasts neutral decor and cosy furnishings.

Jess and Dom both boast impressive social media followings, with Jess having one million followers on Instagram while Dom has 651,000. The dad-of-two is a blogger, influencer and a fire fighter. It was announced in 2022 he'd had a career change and signed up for firefighter duty at Newton Abbot Fire Station.

Meanwhile model Jess is an influencer and business owner, having launched her own baby clothing brand, Natral & Nuutral, in 2020. The brand offers 'neutral' clothing for babies aged 0-4 years.
