I wore white to my sister’s wedding and was trolled for my outfit – everyone says I looked better than the bride | The Sun

WHEN it comes to weddings, there's one unwritten rule – never wear white.

But one woman named Sophie, who is 21, decided to ignore that altogether, and opted to dress in an off-the-shoulder white gown to her own sister's wedding.

However, despite being judged for her controversial outfit of choice, she went on to explain how not all is as it seems, as her sister, who looked stunning in a similar off-the-shoulder white gown, actually asked her to wear white.

In a clip shared to TikTok (@sophisonline), Sophie explains: "I wore white to my sister's wedding as payback because…no I'm only joking, I was forced!

"I didn't actually want to wear white, and I did receive a big response for wearing this as a bridesmaid's dress to our wedding, and so I thought I'd just clear it up because I did not want to be wearing that."

She continues: "I thought I'd be wearing that on my wedding day, not that exactly, but white."
