Jack Harlow Shares Video For 'Denver'
Jack Harlow recently released a video for “Denver,” a song from his third studio album, Jackman.
The visual, directed by Eliel Ford, was filmed in Denver, Colorado.
The video shows Harlow looking out across picturesque landscapes under clouded skies, remaining alone for most of the duration of the visual.
“Ignorance is bliss and so is bein’ underground,” Harlow raps in the song’s opening verse. “Cause it was fun when we were known less.”
“I’ve become so vain and insecure ’bout everything,” he admits. “I feel all this pressure to live up to what they tell me I’m gon’ be/So I isolate myself, you can’t help me, it’s on me.”
When in a hotel room, he writes out his thoughts on loose pieces of paper and then tosses them in the trash. He remains lost in his own thoughts in a strip club and the casino as well.
Harlow previously released videos for “Gang Gang Gang” and “They Don’t Love It,” two other songs from the Jackman record. Ford, who had directed the visuals, shot them in Louisville, Kentucky.
Jackman, which arrived in April this earned Harlow his first No. 1 debut on Billboard‘s Top Rap charts. The record also marked the rapper’s third consecutive top 10 debut on the Top 200 Albums chart.
