TWO teachers at a small school have been caught peddling porn on OnlyFans in the span of just a few weeks.

The side hustle of English teacher Megan Gaither, 31, was uncovered after a student reportedly slipped a note under her classroom door claiming they "knew her secret".

Gaither, a varsity cheerleading coach at St Clair High School in Missouri, USA, said she was placed on leave on Friday for reasons related to "professionalism and student communication".

She told the Post-Dispatch: "Teaching does not financially support a person.

"It's really hard to stretch those paychecks during the summer. That's why I did it."

With more than $125,000 (£103,000) in student loans, and a teaching salary of about $47,500 (£39,000), Gaither said a second job with lucrative pay was attractive.

Meanwhile, her colleague Brianna Coppage, 28, resigned from her own English teaching position to focus on producing porn with her husband for OnlyFans.

She too was placed on leave when her X-rated page was discovered.

Of her resignation, Coppage told the Messenger: "I don't want to fight the school district. I'm just ready for peace.

"I knew that nothing was ever going to be the same if I went back so that was just the best option."

Coppage was suspended on September 27.

She told Fox News she had made close to $1million (£822,000) selling porn since ditching her teaching gig, which paid her a salary of $42,000 (£35,000).

Gaither deactivated her own OnlyFans account when Coppage's was discovered by school officials.

The 31-year-old claimed she made an additional $3,000 to $5,000 a month through the platform, where she had about 1,500 subscribers and chose to keep her face hidden.

Her OnlyFans career became the talk of her school after eagle-eyed students spotted her in a video on Coppage's account, filmed at a party in a St Louis hotel room.

A student slipped a note under her classroom door that said they "knew her secret", the former teacher reported.

Gaither said: "I was in like maybe four minutes of the entire thing, and I definitely did not think this would be the thing that would ruin my entire career."

She described Coppage as her best friend, but said neither teacher knew of the other's OnlyFans habits until she made an offhand comment about the platform in June.

Gaither added: "I legitimately have love in my heart for each and every one of [my students].

"The students are why I told myself I would spend 30 years of my life at that school, and I feel like I am abandoning them. I know I will likely never see them again."

The former teacher said she would likely reactivate her OnlyFans account and was in talks with her husband about moving, explaining she wanted to "make enough to support my family".

She said: "I wouldn't be surprised if there are other teachers out there [in Missouri].

"Teachers are probably freaking out right now because two teachers from the same school, in less than a month, have been caught."

In December, a teacher who left her job to sell saucy snaps on OnlyFans told of how she received a flood of support from students when her X-rated account was exposed.
