Traumatised I’m A Celebrity star Jamie Lynn Spears gets rude awakening
New I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! trailer
I’m A Celebrity star Jamie Lynn Spears has been thrown straight into the deep end with a terrifying skydive.
The American actress arrives into the clearing with JLS star Marvin Humes and Hollyoaks legend Nick Pickard to begin their Austalian jungle journey together.
However, there’s not much time to get acquainted as the trio are immediately sent up in a plane for a dramtic entry into camp life.
It’s particularly bad new for singer Marvin, who has already professed his fear of heights and looks horrified as he’s about to be launched out.
While Jamie Lynn looks absolutely petrified as she gets ready to fly through the air with only a parachute stopping her from smashing into the ground.
The Zoey 101 star starts screaming when she is flung out of the plane – and you can clearly see the terror on her face.
After dropping into the jungle there’s no rest time for these campmates as they find out they’re heading straight into action with a Trial.
Elsewhere, Nigel Farage, Josie Gibson and Nella Rose are taken to Uluru for their first challenge in the outback, tasked with bringing food back for their campmates.
Before going into the jungle, Jamie Lynn spoke about trying to change the public’s perception of her.

Describing herself as both ‘wildly excited and nervous’ about going on I’m A Celebrity, she said it will also be a fantastic opportunity to show the world what she is really like as a person.
“There is literally every misconception you can have on a person about me so I don’t take any of it seriously,” she explained.
“But I do think going on I’m A Celebrity will be a nice way for people to see the real me. This is an opportunity to be myself and do something really cool and have some awesome experiences in the meantime.
“I think my best quality is the fact that it takes a lot to hurt my feelings. Unless you are my children or my immediate family, nothing is going to hurt me. I can take a lot of sh*t and it doesn’t get me down, so I really think it’s a good quality to have in a place where a lot of stuff is thrown at you!”
Jamie Lynn, who recently took part in Dancing With the Stars in the US, reckons her ability to not let anything hurt her feelings will help her cope with the jungle snakes, rats and creepie crawlies.
She admittes: “I am absolutely frightened of everything.
“Everything I have seen I have been afraid of. Absolutely every one of these trials I am dreading. I haven’t looked at any of them and thought, ‘Oh cool, I could do that one’. This is going to be terrifying.
“Dancing with the Stars was such a wonderful experience but this is very different. This is all about personally pushing yourself.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns Sunday, November 19 from 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
