Lidl is bringing back a sold-out winter gadget to supermarket shelves from Sunday – and it might mean you can delay putting your heating on for a while longer.
The discount supermarket is bringing back its bargain Silentnight luxury heated throw from this Sunday, November 19.
It costs just 3p to run per hour, using 100W of energy – saving customers money on their electric bills.
The fleece throw will be priced at just £24.99 as part of a Black Friday deal, down from £39.98.
It comes with a three year guarantee, has nine heat settings and overheating safety protection.

The product description reads ‘The Silentnight Luxury Faux Fur Heated Throw offers luxurious warmth in minutes, so you can snuggle up and cocoon yourself in cosy, blissful comfort.
‘Luxuriously soft and sensationally strokable, made with beautiful faux fur fabric to provide fluffy cosiness, perfect for the colder months.
‘The nine heat settings allow you to choose a temperature that is just right for you and the built-in timer allows you to set your perfect length of usage time.’
The timer means you can go to sleep with the blanket on and it will turn off automatically when you set it to – meaning it can be used as an alternative to putting the heating on.
It hasn’t been available to purchase form Lidl since December 2022, when it cost £29.99.
On the Silentnight website, a similar throw with only three heat settings costs £45.
The winter gadget is bound to sell out quickly and it won’t be available online so shoppers will have to be fast on Sunday to get their hands on it.
It comes after a recent survey by the Office for National Statistics revealed that four in ten adults (39%) in the UK found their energy bills difficult to afford.
With the energy price cap set to rise again in January, homeowners are looking for ways to save on heating whilst keeping themselves warm.
Heated blankets and throws are popular options as well as other hacks like putting tin foil on radiators and opting for fleece bedding.
