Piers Morgan on how ‘whiny brat’ Prince Harry could be forgiven by Royal Family

GMB: Susanna Reid defends Prince Harry over security issue

Piers Morgan has branded Prince Harry a “whiny brat” and has suggested how the royal family might “forgive him” after what the TalkTV host has described as “race-baiting”. It comes after Prince Harry has claimed he and his wife Meghan Markle were “forced” to leave the royal family during his High Court case against the Home Office over his security arrangements in the UK.

Piers took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, today to share an update from ITV NEWS Royal Editor Chris Ship. In view of his 169,600 followers, Christ tweeted from the High Court: “Prince Harry says he and Meghan were ‘forced’ to leave their roles in the Royal Family and move to the USA.

“He disputes it was a ‘choice’,” Chris added. “Harry says he wants his children to be safe when they visit the country which is ‘central to their heritage’.

“The Duke of Sussex’s case against the Home Office over his security arrangements in the UK has just finished. The judge, Mr Justice Lane, has reserved his decision – which means he goes away and announces it at a future date.”

Responding to Chris’ report in view of his own 8.7 million X followers, Piers branded Prince Harry a “whiny brat”. He tweeted: “Harry’s so exhausting. Just shut up you whiny brat.

“You’ve made your race-baiting title-fleecing royal-bashing bed – so lie in it.”

Journalist Damian Reilly then replied to Piers: “What would Harry have to do for you to forgive him, Piers? (Assuming forgiveness is even possible).” (sic)

Piers fired back: “My forgiveness is irrelevant. But if he wants his family – and country – to ever forgive him, he can start by issuing a public apology for calling the Royals a bunch of racists then pretending he hadn’t.”

Prince Harry has made a High Court challenge against the Home Office over his security arrangements in the UK, with the hearing concluding today and a ruling from the judge expected to be shared at a later date.

He wants to overturn a ruling that saw his security status downgraded after he stopped being a “working royal”, but the Home Office has said security is decided on a case-by-case basis.

During the hearing in London, his lawyers argued there were unfair aspects to how the decision was made.

In 2021, Prince Harry and his wife claimed during an interview with Oprah Winfrey that a senior member of the royal family had made comments about the skin colour of their unborn son, Archie.

These comments caused a huge fallout and have since sparked accusations of racism within the royal family.

Prince Harry attempted to address the comments in a sit-down interview with ITV’s Tom Bradbury earlier this year, where he said he “would not” describe the incident as racist.
