Police are investigating the circumstances around a fatal car crash at Piries near Mansfield, north-east of Melbourne, in the early hours of Sunday.
All occupants of the car died at the scene, but police are still working to establish how many people were in the vehicle which caught fire after leaving the road.
Police were called to Mansfield-Woods Point Road at about 7am on Sunday after reports of a burnt out vehicle.
Police are still working to formally identify the driver and occupants of the vehicle and work out the circumstances that led to the car leaving the road.
