A drunk driver who flew past police with two tyres missing has been banned from the roads for 14 months.
Paulius Krasausauskas, 38 from Haddenham, Buckinghamshire was stopped on the A142 by officers who saw ‘sparks flying’ from his black Vauxhall Astra at about 4.30am on September 16.
They were shocked to discover, once they had pulled him over that he was missing two tyres and the ‘sparks’ had been coming from the alloy wheels scraping along the road.

Krasausauskas blew almost twice the legal limit on the breathalyser and has been banned from driving for 14 months
Krasausauskas, who blew almost twice the legal limit on the breathalyser, told police he had been at a friends in Peterborough and was driving home.
He blew 65 microgrammes at the roadside, with the legal limit in the UK being 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath.
He later went on to blow 50 while in custody.
Sergeant Andrew Owen, who investigated, said: ‘This case demonstrates the serious impairment alcohol has on a person’s ability to drive safely.
‘Thankfully no other road users were affected by his decision to drive that morning in a vehicle not fit for purpose.’
