Who plays detective Jason Wise in Emmerdale? | The Sun
CRAIG Reed's murder has shaken the Dales and although viewers know who is responsible, the police have yet to figure it out.
The case has been left to DS Jason Wise and Emmerdale fans were happy to see him again for the first time after years of radio silence.
Who is DS Jason Wise in Emmerdale?
The rapist portrayed by Ben Addis was found dead on the Home Farm estate, triggering a harrowing investigation.
But as the police took charge, Lydia Dingle (played by Karen Blick) made some detective work of her own by gathering the Dingle family in The Woolpack and questioning them all on their alibis.
While many secrets were uncovered in recent scenes of the ITV soap, authorities haven't been lucky and, to make matters more urgent, they have no clue who could have killed Craig Reed.
The truth was revealed to viewers during Thursday's (November 2, 2023) instalment of the Yorkshire-based drama but these same soap fans were distracted by a surprise return.

Many of them were delighted to see DS Jason Wise was back in the eponymous village after three years of absence.
The detective sergeant made his Emmerdale debut in 2016 as he investigated historic sex abuse allegations against Gordon Livesy after his own son Aaron Livesy aka Dingle accused him of repeatedly raping him as a child.
He made several appearances in the program throughout 2016 and had a handful of cameos between 2017 and 2019.
Jason was last seen in 2020 following DI Malone's murder and, on Thursday, he showed up at Home Farm to speak with Kim Tate (Claire King) after Craig's body had been found.
