IN CASE you’ve not heard of the beauty therapy method taking the world by storm, EMS stands for electric muscle stimulation.
It’s a natural therapy that claims to help with collagen production and tighten, lift and rejuvenate skin. It aims to firm up skin and give the appearance of a more sculpted cheek and jaw.
As a skincare enthusiast, I’m always looking to elevate my skincare routine and as a result, I was extremely excited to do a Facegym review.
Facegym specialises in facial fitness and skincare. It began as a 30 minute workout for the face performed by trainers at the brand’s studios, with key focus areas being the forehead, jawline and eye area.
The brand’s tools have a reputation for giving you a chiselled jaw, reportedly re-shaping the face in just fifteen minutes. The brand is loved by a number of celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Nicole Kidman, Lizzo and Kaia Gerber.
As I’ve visited a Facegym studio before and saw immediate results, I was excited to be able to do these workouts at home everyday with the use of the Medi Lift, a high-performance EMS Mask priced at £460.
The Medi Lift claims to improve muscle tone and elevate and firm the skin, giving users a youthful appearance through a revitalised and glowing complexion.
This must have been the craziest tool I’ve used in the name of beauty, but does the Medi Lift work? Is it worth the money and is it easy to use?
