The supermarket is soon launching a heated airer and it costs just 6p run.
With winter approaching many people will be starting to get a little worried about the rising cost of bills.
One of the things that becomes a lot harder to do in the winter without using more energy is drying clothes.
This means that the heating may need to be on for longer, or if you need to start using your tumble dryer.
Either way, this is all going to add to the cost of your energy bill at a time when money is already tight.

According to Uswitch a tumble dryer using a 2.5kWh per cycle would be 68p per cycle.
However, there is one way you can try and cut back on laundry costs and that is with a heated airer.
Using this nifty gadget could save you hundreds of pounds a year on your energy bill and Lidl is launching one soon that costs just 6p to run.
Initially, it might seem like a bit of an outlay as the airer will set you back £44.99 but it could turn out to be a good investment in the long term.

The Minky 12M heated airer launches in Lidl on October 19 and if it is anything like Aldi's sell-out airer you will need to be quick to get your hands on one.
The item is described on the Lidl website as being "lightweight and sturdy".
It has 12m of drying space and holds 16k of laundry which equates to one load of washing.
It is also easy to fold away and comes with a one-year warranty.
While you cannot buy online with Lidl you can find your nearest store by using the store locator tool on the website.
As always it is good to shop around the make sure you are getting the cheapest deal.
You can use sites such as Google Shopping to compare items from different retailers.

Other ways to keep your heating bills down
There are a few things you can put in place if you are worried about soaring bills in the winter.
You can buy a roll of draught-proofing tape to put around the gaps in your doors and windows for around £5 off Amazon.
According to the Energy Saving Trust, this could save you around £45 a year on your energy bills.
Remembering to close your curtains when you put the heating on can also help to keep the precious heat in your home, and remember to close any windows.
Just turning your thermostat down by just one degree can be another easy way to save £100 a year.
