Molly-Mae Hague admits to parenting mistake amid disastrous hot drink accident

Fans have flooded Molly-Mae Hague with support after she recently admitted to a parenting blunder when it came to dressing eight-month old Bambi.

The former Love Island star shared incredibly cute pictures from their recent mother-daughter day out to a coffee shop.

However, the 24-year-old revealed that she innocently forgot to put socks on Bambi before they left the house.

She wrote on Instagram: "Can’t wait for my favourite season with you baby girl…. maybe I did forget to put socks on her today [upside down smiling emoji] (also this hot choc went flying 10 seconds later and destroyed my Uggs x)."

However, with a plethora of mum-shamers lurking the internet it seems understandable that Molly might want to make it clear that she didn't intentionally not put socks on her baby daughter.

And fans were quick to give her any reassurance she might need, with one saying that a lot of youngsters enjoy going barefoot.

"My son never had any socks on at this age always pulled them off, such a cute baby," one commented.

Another said, "Molly we’ve all been there and done that with our kids. There’s been times I’ve forgotten an extra outfit and had to nip to a shop to buy another outfit after a poo explosion.

"The fact she has to justify Bambi not having socks on is sad, as she knows the trolls will come out with all the “her feet will be freezing” blah blah blah! Gorgeous mamma and babba xx," a third wrote.

But the trip wasn't plain sailing for Molly as shared a picture of her hot chocolate with whipped cream spilling all over the floor.

The star wrote, "Life comes at you fast" and also shared a picture of her UGG boots which had been soaked in the incident, adding: "I know it was someone telling me to take these damn things OFF."

This isn't the first time that Molly felt the need to defend herself on social media from any possible targeted comments.

When the new mum, who is engaged to Tommy Fury, was filming a YouTube vlog Bambi could be heard making noises in the background.

However, before anyone had the chance to criticise, Molly assured her viewers that she wasn’t “neglecting” her baby.

The star said: “If you ever think I am neglecting the baby monitor and you can hear Bambi in the background, don't think I'm neglecting her. She just takes a minute to settle off after she's had her nap.”

She told her viewers not to think she was a “bad mum”, as she said: “I always leave her for five minutes and she just falls asleep. Don't think that I'm being a bad mum there."

We think you're doing a great job, Molly.
