THIS is the shocking moment a wedding descended into total chaos after a terrifying brawl broke out.

Terrifying footage begins with guests tucking into the meal at Regent Hall in Bolton on Thursday evening.


However, moments later they are seen using chair and poles as weapons against each other.

Police say one man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer after cops broke up the fight.

The clip, shared on social media shows the guest enjoying the reception before one man approaches a table and flicks a man's hat.

A major fight then begins – with other guests piling in with any weapons they have to hand.

The bride and groom are seen watching on helplessly as other guests try in vain to break up the fight.

Cops say officers responded to reports of a disturbance at a business in Prescott Street, Bolton, around 8.30pm.

A police spokesperson said: "Officers were able to split up an ongoing fight and bring the situation under control.

"There were no life-changing or life-threatening injuries.
