Richard Madeley announces he has a new grandchild
Richard Madeley has broken his silence on his James Haskell during a segment on Good Morning Britain.
The broadcaster referred to James as his “son-in-law” despite recently splitting from his daughter Chloe Madeley.
As he chatted with ITV’s entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold, he reflected on James being in the jungle himself back in 2019.
Although Chloe recently announced her and James’ split, Richard said on live TV on Monday: “It is early days, I remember when my son-in-law James Haskell was in the Jungle doing really well and riding high in the polls and then he lost it.
“He got into a massive row in camp, blew his stack and that was that!”

Chloe and James recently announced a joint statement on social media explaining their decision to split up.
Chloe wrote: “James and I mutually decided to separate at the end of September 2023.
“We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time – certainly not while the television show was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.
“Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.
“Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”
