Kaleb Cooper called out by Radio 2 star in age ‘row’ as host Alex Jones steps in
Kaleb Cooper Upsets Sally Boazman By Bringing Up Her Age
Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper got into an unexpected debate with BBC Radio 2’s travel reporter Sally Boazman during an interview with stand-in presenter The One Show’s Alex Jones on Saturday.
The 25-year-old farmer joined the host to discuss his new book, tour and the upcoming new series of Clarkson’s Farm, where he found fame.
After Alex played his choice of song, she went on to introduce Sally to Kaleb, but it turned out they had already met just moments before.
Seemingly unimpressed, Sally told the host: “He just reminded me how old I was.”
Puzzled, Kaleb said: “I didn’t say it like that.”

“You did Kaleb,” Sally chimed in. “You told me I was really old.”
But still refuting the claim, he echoed: “I didn’t”
Alex jokingly chimed in, adding: “I was about to plug your book and now I dunno whether we can.”
“Woah hang on a minute, I offered to make you a cup of coffee,” he went on to say.
The travel reporter replied: “Because I’m an old woman I couldn’t do it myself?”

Setting the record straight, the Clarkson’s Farm star went on to explain: “I said I was 25 and you said you started radio in 1999 and I was born in 1998, that’s all I said.”
“Yes, alright,” Sally added, seemingly realising his innocence.
Jokingly breaking it up, Alex concluded: “Right Kaleb, I’m going to have to rein it in here.”
Elsewhere during his interview, The One Show host proceeded to ask him about the upcoming third series of Clarkson’s Farm.
While he couldn’t say too much about it, he did dive into a time he had a huge row with Jeremy.
Alex said she was “amazed” that he hadn’t “absolutely lost it” with his co-star Jeremy, to which he revealed he actually had.
He went on to say: “Yeah I have. We’re good friends, you know, with every good friendship you have your arguments by all means.
“You may not talk to each other for a day or two, but after that you go, ‘Do you want a cup of tea? Or, ‘let’s go and have a hawkes cider or a beer’.
“And then everything feels normal again.
“If you sit there and hold a grudge against someone for too long its not really a friendship.”
The new series is expected to return to Amazon in 2024.
