Revolution just launched an £8 ‘dupe’ of Charlotte Tilbury’s viral £30 matte cream blush
When it comes to blusher, there are plenty of different formulas to choose from, with powders, liquids, balms and creams all giving very different finishes to your makeup look.
However, thanks to our new found love of a dewy, radiant complexion, it’s no surprise that cream blushers have become one of the go-to formulas recently thanks to their subtle colour payoff and light, natural-looking finish.
Although there are a whole host of different ones to choose from, one of the best-loved cream blushers is the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand, £30 here, which has gone viral on TikTok over the recent years.
Although Charlotte Tilbury’s Blush Wands have become a makeup bag must-have, the more high-end price tag means we’ve been on the lookout for a more affordable alternative that we can use over and over again – and we’ve finally found it.
Makeup Revolution has just launched its very own version, with the Revolution Pro Iconic Matte Cream Blush Wand, £7.99 here, being the perfect budget-friendly alternative to Charlotte Tilbury’s coveted blush wand.
The Revolution Blush Wand has a similar high-pigment payoff and leaves you with a soft-focus flush of colour and a matte finish that gives your skin a natural-looking glow, whilst its creamy formula makes it super blendable and buildable, meaning you can buff it seamlessly into your skin without disrupting the makeup underneath.
One of the reasons Charlotte Tilbury’s is such a big hit is because of its easy to use wand design which ensures you can apply your blush precisely, and Revolution's bargain version has an almost identical applicator, meaning you can throw it into your bag and use on the go whilst still getting perfect placement.
The Revolution Pro Iconic Matte Cream Blush Wand, £7.99 here, launched earlier this month, and one reviewer has already compared it to the Charlotte Tilbury ones, writing: “This is a dupe for rare beauty blush. Very good!”
Another also said: “Very good package easy to blend and soft result love it.”
The Revolution blush comes in three different shades; Stripped Pink (a dusky rose colour), Sultry Peach (a subtle peachy coral tone) and Seduction Berry (a rich berry red shade), with each colour suiting a wide range of different skin tones.
If you want a little more shade range, though, the e.l.f. Halo Glow Blush Beauty Wand, £9 here, has a similar creamy formula and wand applicator, whilst also coming in six different shades including a rich berry shade and a golden brown hue.
