Olivia Attwood ‘rules out’ I’m A Celeb return as she lands huge ITV job – source

Olivia Attwood will not be returning to the jungle as she reportedly rules herself out of I’m A Celebrity… Get me Out of Here!

Last series, doctors were concerned about the 32-year-old and performed tests that proved that she was anaemic and had low sodium and potassium levels.

Unfortunately, after being taken to A&E, Olivia was forced to leave the show and was heavily rumoured to be included in the forthcoming 2023 lineup.

However, recent reports have now dashed any hope of her returning to the ITV celebrity competition.

According to MailOnline, the former Love Island star has allegedly landed a role presenting a new dating show. It’s also claimed that the filming schedule for the unnamed show clashes with I’m A Celeb.

Regarding the career move, a source told the publication: “Olivia was so upset when she had to suddenly leave the jungle last year… everyone saw how incredibly disappointed she was.

“She had been in discussions with ITV to return to I’m A Celeb for months, both sides wanted it to work because it was unfair that her time on the show was cut so short when it was always her dream to take part.”

However, when the “opportunity” to host a brand-new dating show fell at her feet, it’s reported that the Get Filthy Rich star “jumped” at the chance.

Regarding the upcoming programme, the source claimed that it is tipped to be the “next big dating series since Love Island”.

Unlike its competitor, this small screen offering is reportedly “centred more around exploring relationships”.

“She adores presenting but also loves reality television and has never forgotten the platform that Love Island has given her… this new role perfectly marries the two,” the source added.

Express.co.uk has reached out to Olivia’s representatives and ITV for further comment.

The move comes after she recently became a full-time panellist on the broadcaster’s lunchtime staple, Loose Women.

Speaking candidly to The Daily Star, she said that she isn’t afraid to discuss the intimate elements of her marriage to footballer Bradley Dack on the show.

“I’m not afraid, ashamed or embarrassed to talk about sex. I’ve always been empowered by being sexy. I have the feminist view that women should be able to choose how they use their body or sex.

“Sexual wellness and positivity is something I believe in and is becoming more talked about, which I think is great.”

As well as joining the lunchtime chat show, the 32-year-old has previously presented the documentary series Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich.

Across two series, the star has investigated and reported on the likes of camgirls, sugar babies, and dominatrixes.

While the I’m A Celeb line-up is yet to be confirmed, ITV has announced that the show will return for 2023 on Sunday, November 19.

Last year, former England international Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle and she has since gone on to become the first female player to captain England for Soccer Aid.

The Mirror has reported that series 23 of I’m A Celebrity will air at 9pm and finish at 10.45pm after introducing this year’s participants.
