EastEnders fans are fearing for Gina Knight after she was seen getting closer to accused rapist, Dean Wicks.

The bartender was left shocked after Dean played Linda’s recording in the pub admitting that she “wanted” to have sex with Dean. Though Linda informed everyone she only admitted it to save Dean pressing charges against her dad, George, Gina admitted to Anna that she doesn’t believe Linda and thinks Dean is innocent.

As Sharon’s stag party was underway, Gina slipped off to see Dean to ask about the whereabouts of his daughter, Jade, who fled after learning of the accusations. She admitted she didn’t believe Linda leaving Dean feel relieved. Now fans fear this connection is going to prove dangerous for Gina, who could be his next victim.

“Gina is just the most unlikeable character ever. She's had a stick up her butt from the moment she walked in. Now she's defending a rapist? Something tells me she's about to find out the hard way,” penned one fan. “New #Eastenders theory. Dean attacks Gina. George kills Dean,” said another, alluding to Dean being the character that gets killed off in the Christmas episode.

“Why am I thinking Dean will rape Gina next Gina is playing with fire! she will get burnt,” penned a third, while a fourth bashed: “I reckon Dean will rape Gina, and that's how Gina will realise that Linda wasn't lying and Dean will get arrested and sentenced, finally being brought to justice for rape” Elsewhere, a guilt-ridden Sharon had burned a letter from the hospital detailing Albie's paternity.

She later revealed all to Linda moments before she had discovered evidence of Linda's drinking. Sharon had worried that Linda would expose the truth as she had tried to put on a brave face at the party but later found Linda drunk in The Vic toilets.

Sharon had comforted Linda after she had been sick, as Linda had promised to keep Sharon's secret, but the pair had been shocked when Kat had exited a cubicle – she had heard everything and knew the truth about Albie's paternity. Sharon chased after Kat, who had been determined to tell Phil, but Sharon had warned Kat that telling Phil about Albie could re-spark something romantic between the pair, and if Kat had ruined her life, Sharon would come for hers.
