24 Hours in Police Custody viewers left 'sick to their stomach' after 'vile' criminal commits vicious assault on woman | The Sun

24 HOURS in Police Custody viewers were left 'sick to their stomach' by the latest scenes on the show.

The Channel 4 factual series shows the challenges faced by police in Bedfordshire.

Viewers were left disgusted after they watched the authorities interview of sex offender Loui Cadman.

In November, the 25-year-old was caught on CCTV in Leighton Buzzard where he followed his "vulnerable" victim.

She left a bar, seperated from her friends and the man went onto film her urinating in the alley without her knowing.

Cadman admitted the three minute video "turned him on," and the clip included disgusting comments made by him about the woman's body parts.

He proceeded to orally rape his victim before the Police arrested him near the scene shortly after.

In scenes that aired on the commercial network, he denied assaulting the victim as he broke down in the interview.

He told Detective Shona Birkby: "I cry when I stand on an ant or a fly. I couldn't hurt someone like that."

However the man did admit to filming her without her consent as viewers were left enraged by his confession.

They took to X – formerly known as Twitter – in their droves to express utter disgust.

One fan of the show wrote: "I absolutely believe that he will do too. He's absolutely disgusting and he could see mo wrong in what he'd done. That made it even scarier #24hoursinpolicecustody."

Another simply stated: "Disgusting vile rat should be put down."

"He was sorry because he got caught the absolute scum bag," noted a third.

A fourth exclaimed: "That video has made me sick to my stomach! #24hoursinpolicecustody."

And a fifth user posted: "#24HoursInPoliceCustody No wonder only 1% of rapists go to jail. You have CCTV footage of a stalker running down an alleyway, chasing a drunken girl whilst she’s peeing, and it’s STILL not enough evidence.

They added: "Beyond reasonable doubt should be taken into account with rape cases.

Cadman was jailed in August for more than nine years for rape, voyeurism, possession of indecent images and possession of cannabis.

In court, the judge described him as a "danger to women" and told him the behaviour as "predatory" and "calculated".

Detective Chief Inspector Michelle Lack commented: "This episode [of the TV series] gives an insight into the work our Rape and Serious Sexual Offences team does to support victims and work with them to bring perpetrators of sexual violence and abuse to justice.

"We know that people may feel some behaviour which makes them feel unsafe or uncomfortable is not worth reporting to police – but we want to know about it.

"These patterns can escalate into serious offences, and we want to take action to stop predatory behaviour as early as we can."
