Woman, 22, dies during buttock enlargement surgery by ‘unqualified’ beautician
A woman has died during a buttock enlargement procedure performed by an "unqualified" beautician.
Mika Shabasova, 22, passed away just "10 minutes after she was administered local anaesthetic" by her "friend" who was set to perform the surgery.
An ambulance was called but the Russian woman had already died by the time medical staff arrived at the scene.

The Russian Investigative Committee said: "A 22-year-old resident of Makhachkala, while visiting her friend, who performs cosmetic procedures at home, died on the spot after the administration of an anaesthetic.
"Currently, all the circumstances of the incident are being established."
The cosmetologist in the case, Uma M, has now been placed under house arrest as police investigate the death.
Ms M, a former waitress, had no licence to perform cosmetic surgery but was giving customers lip, cheek and bum enlargements from the "home surgery" where Ms Shabasova tragically died.
The beautician was reportedly offering the procedure that led to the victim's death for just £154 after she took a "two-week course".

Ms M told police in Makhachkala, southeast Russia, that she had repeatedly used the local anaesthetic lidocaine on Ms Shabasova's skin and had asked her if she had any allergies before administering the drug.
Local media outlet 112 wrote: "The cause of death will be established by a forensic medical examination."
Meanwhile one of Ms Shabasova's friends said he warned his pal not to go through with the procedure.
"The beautician who was supposed to perform the operation, only recently received a certificate," he said.
"She completed a two-week course and became a cosmetologist. Prior to that, she was doing lash extensions."
The friend continued: "Mika went to her, because Uma is her friend, purely because of trust," adding he was not the only one urging her not to get the surgery.
"She lived with three girls in an apartment – they all tried to persuade her not to go to this beautician," he said.
The friend said Ms Shabasova "secretly" called a taxi to take her to the cosmetologist's house, unbeknownst to her concerned housemates.
Ms Shabasova had previously had surgery on her lips, nose and chin "with different anaesthetics", according to him.
