One person is dead and four others were injured in a “suspicious” incident in Queens Thursday morning, authorities said.

The FDNY responded around 6:30 a.m. to an apartment building on Hempstead Avenue in Queens Village, where five people were found — including one who was already dead, according to fire officials.

Three were transported to area hospitals in critical condition, while one suffered minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene.

One of the victims was in cardiac arrest, officials said.

Hazmat was also on scene, which is under investigation.

The NYPD could not immediately provide details surrounding the fatal incident, other than saying it was being treated as “suspicious.”
