Monica Lewinsky: I was uninvited from event after Bill Clinton RSVP’d

Monica Lewinsky was invited to a Town & Country magazine event — then uninvited after former President Bill Clinton joined the lineup, according to a new report.

Clinton was at the mag’s Philanthropy Summit on Wednesday to introduce teen gun control activist Emma Gonzalez, the Huffington Post reports.

Lewinsky then slammed the company for bumping her in a tweet — but didn’t mention the magazine by name.

“dear world: please don’t invite me to an event (esp one about social change) and –then after i’ve accepted– uninvite me because bill clinton then decided to attend/was invited. it’s 2018. emily post would def not approve,” she tweeted Wednesday, referring to the late etiquette expert.

“p.s. …and definitely, please don’t try to ameliorate the situation by insulting me with an offer of an article in your mag,” she added in a second tweet.

Lewinsky, who now works as a “bullying prevention activist,” had an affair with the married president when she was a 22-year-old White House intern.
