Major hotel near Labour Party conference evacuated as emergency services swoop

POLICE have swooped on a hotel near the Labour party conference.

Queen's Hotel in Brighton, which last night held an event for the party, has been evacuated this morning.

Pictures show police, ambulances and fire crews at the scene on the seafront.

It is not yet clear what the incident they are dealing with is.

Labour have been holding their five-day conference in Brighton this week.

Sir Keir Starmer is due to give a keynote speech – his first in-person conference address – at midday to mark the end of the event.
