The victims from the horror crash on Tuesday have been named locally, after two teenage girls and a man died when a car hit a tree.
Joshua Parkes, 21, Lucy Tibbets and Izzie Floyd both 16-years-old died when the car they were travelling in ploughed into the tree.
Two victims are still fighting for their lives in hospital, identified as 16-year-old Izzie Ramsell and 18-year-old Nathan Cartwright.
The tragic crash involved a a yellow Skoda Fabia which crashed on Bromley Lane in Kingswinford, the West Midlands, at around 8.50pm yesterday, October 13.
Pals said Joshua had been overtaking another car at 90mph on the 30mph road when he lost control of the Skoda and crashed into a tree.
Friends said he may have racing another vehicle or was aware a police car was in the vicinity at the time.
One friend, who was laying flowers at the scene, said: "I know Lucy who died and Nathan who was in the passenger seat.
"Nathan is hospital in Birmingham with a bleed on his brain. He's having surgery because he's also got a damaged spine.
"He [Josh] was going over 90mph and coming up behind another car.

"He overtook it and as he swerved back into the lane he lost control and went into the tree.
"I'm not sure why they were going that fast. I haven't a clue.
"Some say there was an undercover police officer at the scene or there was another car behind that was trying to race them.
"Lucy never hurt anyone. She was a lovely girl.
"She had started a new job and was sorting her life out, but now she's lost it.

"She had done accounting at college and started an apprenticeship.
"She struggled with anxiety and other girls would give her a hard time because they were jealous of how pretty she was."
Another added: "Josh and Nathan loved their cars, I think they were really into Fast and the Furious and all that kind of stuff.
"I wouldn't be surprised if they were showing off to the girls to be honest – it's a tragic waste of life."
Tearful friends hugged and consoled each other as they laid bouquets of flowers and left balloons at the scene of the fatal crash this afternoon (Wed).

One friend of the girls said: "They were innocent girls, they didn't deserve this.
"I don't know why they would get into the car with him. They must have been terrified."
Another resident, who wouldn’t give her name, said: “We heard the collision last night and ran out to try to help.
“There was an enormous bang then the sound of the car breaking up and metal falling.
“I knew it was a car crash straight away.
“It’s a busy road, a fast road and we need to do something about it like a speed camera. It’s ridiculous the way people drive along here.
“I called my husband and when we went outside the police were already there doing CPR on them while waiting for the ambulance.
“Once we saw the police there we just let them do their job.
“I feel so sorry for them and their families to have lost someone so young.
“I slept on and off but couldn’t get it out of my mind.
“The ambulance lights were flashing for a long time.”
