EuroMillions winner Gillian Bayford who scooped £148m jackpot gives birth at 48

EuroMillions winner Gillian Bayford has given birth to a baby girl in lockdown, aged 48.

The millionaire, who bagged the £148million jackpot, is thrilled to be a mum for the third time.

Gillian, who had daughter Emilie six months ago, has two older children aged 13 and 15.

She shared the EuroMillions jackpot with her then-husband, Adrian, back in 2012. They later split a year after and she returned from Suffolk to Scotland.

The pair blamed the stress of their win for their break-up after nine years of marriage.

She told The Sun: “As far as she is concerned I’m not a lottery winner, I’m just Mum.

“Some things are easier because of the money but it doesn’t really change anything. You still have to change a nappy or deal with her being sick on you regardless of how much you’re worth.”

The EuroMillions winner married dad-of-one Brian Deans, 40, in 2018, and said she was 'shocked' to find out she was pregnant again.

Gillian's plans to start a family with Brian were delayed when she received a verbal warning from a judge for attacking ex Gavin Innes in an argument.

She was convicted of breaching the peace and was admonished, where she was able to go free with a warning.

She added: “But I’d always wanted another baby. So after a little bit, I thought ‘I better get on with this then’. It’s really enjoyable being an older mum. It is like riding a bike, you don’t forget.”

But Gillian insisted Emilie will not be spoilt.

The mum-of-three, who runs a property firm near her home in Dundee, said all her children "need to know the value of money".

She said: “She’s not dressed in designer clothes. She’s not got anything different to her brother and sister.

Gillian and Adrian are among one of the biggest UK lottery winners, behind Colin and Chris Weir who scooped more than £161million in 2011.

Another couple, Patrick and Frances Connolly from County Armagh won £115million on New Year's Day in 2019.
