A cheeky cat has accidentally re-enacted a "Scooby-Doo" scene with his owner when it slipped out of the house and led him on a hilarious chase.
The blunder was captured on a security camera when the owner returned home and opened the door only to let the cat run free.

The CCTV clip shows the adventurous feline dashing out of the house seconds after the man opens the door.
The moggie takes a quick turn to the right and disappears before the owner realises what has hapened.
He turns around and chases the four-legged friend but the mischievous feline seems to enjoy getting some fresh air and decides to run all the way across the hallway to the other side.
The scene turns into a Scooby-Doo parody as the cat continues to lead its owner around endlessly.
One viewer joked the owner "will only catch the cat that way if it allows".
Others guessed the cat could be an indoor cat that is "desperate to explore the outside world".
A cat owner warned: "Careful, that is only stage one. They will get more curious. I know from experience and I am desperate to keep them inside."
"Never chase the cat," another added. "Walk calmly and keep it in sight.
"If it's an indoor cat it will most likely freeze on its own to assess its surroundings.
"If you are running after the cat now its in unusual surroundings and being chased so it's going to flee and hide."
When others asked if the owner caught the cat at the end, he replied: "Yeah he did. But the Ring camera stopped recording somehow."
