Rapper 21 Savage’s brother was fatally stabbed as he took shopping to his grandmother, with his heartbroken family paying tribute.

Terrell Davis, a 27-year-old rapper known as TM1way, was attacked on the Blenheim Gardens estate in Brixton, south London, last night, November 23.

A family source told the MailOnline he got into an argument with an old friend en route to his grandmother’s before he was stabbed.

21 Savage, real name Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, afterwards shared a picture of the pair as children on Instagram and wrote: "Can't believe somebody took you baby bro.

"I know I took my anger out on you I wish I could take that s*** back."

21 Savage was born in Plaistow, east London, before moving to the US as a child.

However, he and Mr Davis have the same dad, Kevin Emmons.

Their sister Kyra Davis also posted: "I don't even know what to say. My heart is in pieces.

"I love you more than words can say. Rest in perfect peace Terrell."

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police are investigating a fatal stabbing after they were called at 17.59pm on Sunday, November 22, by the London Ambulance Service to a location in Ramillies Close, Lambeth, SW2.

"But he was round visiting his grandmother yesterday and had gone to the shops for her as she's elderly and we are in the middle of a pandemic.

"He was coming back to the house when he saw an old friend. This was someone he'd known for a long time.

"They started arguing over something and then suddenly he stabbed him. It was completely out of the blue.

"Terrell didn't have any enemies that I knew of…he just focused on his music.

"He was a really good rapper and was on the verge of doing big things. He wanted to be like his brother. Everyone is in shock."
