Yellowstone season four’s latest episode saw some major departures and fans are concerned Teeter (played by Jen Landon) is gone for good. During episode six of the Paramount Network season, John Dutton (Kevin Costner) delivered a shock for viewers as he announced he was firing numerous people in the bunkhouse. These included all the women, barrel racers and worst of all, Teeter.

Is Teeter leaving Yellowstone?

Since joining the Dutton ranch, Teeter has been one of the most crucial members of the ranch hands.

Time and again she has more than pulled her weight, with fans convinced she was invaluable and set to be a long-lasting member of the team.

However, that no longer looks to be the case, following John’s abrupt decision to lay off the women of the ranch.

This is all in spite of the fact that Teeter has done nothing wrong and is simply a victim of group punishment.

This all started because of the smouldering resentment between Walker (Ryan Bingham) and Lloyd (Forrie J Smith).

Walker first returned to the ranch at the end of season three and things have gone from bad to worse since for Lloyd.

It wasn’t long before Walker took Lloyd’s one-time flame Laramie (Hassie Harrison) from him and the pair didn’t hide the fact in front of everyone.

It all led to Lloyd and Walker brawling in the bunkhouse, with Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) stepping in to stop the fight.

John has now made the decision to fire all the women in the bunkhouse to remove this problem from ever happening again, as fights in the bunkhouse are strictly against the rules.

With Teeter and the rest of the women gone in episode six, viewers will have to wait and see if John decides to change his mind before season four comes to a close.

It is unconfirmed if Teeter has officially left Yellowstone, with Landon also yet to address her character’s firing.

Teeter has been a popular addition to the cast since her introduction, and fans can hardly believe she is really gone.

On Twitter, viewers shared their reaction to episode six’s shocking mass cast exit.

@ExcuseMeltsMaam wrote: “Dear @Yellowstone, we love Teeter! Don’t send her away!”

@MOLLYBIRD2P2 replied: “I know… bummer… not Teeter… she’s so awesome!!”

“She wasn’t the problem. Being a she was. Booo,” @yelizabetyyc commented.

@Willisblw1972 shared: “I think they will find a place for her working with Kayce.”

However, there are other ways Teeter can make a return, with the Yellowstone universe expanding all the time.

While Yellowstone: 1883 is the next spin-off exploring the origins of the Dutton ranch, there is another that Teeter could appear in.

The Paramount Network is also developing Yellowstone: 6666, a series set in Texas, rather than the famed ranch.

How this show links to the main series remains a mystery, but with Teeter out of work, she may be willing to relocate to a Texan ranch.

Yellowstone season 4 continues Sunday on the Paramount Network in the USA. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
