Who stars in Witness No 3 on Channel 5?

Nina Toussaint-White

Nina Toussaint-White is a 36-year-old English actress.

She is best known for her role in Bodyguard and has made appearances in Doctor Who, The Bill and Casualty.

Nina played Syd in BBC soap EastEnders in 2009.

She leads the cast of Witness No 3 as Jodie, a single mother who witnesses a murder.

Sion Daniel Young

Sion Daniel Young was born in Cardiff, Wales.

He is an actor known for Private Peaceful (2012), The Left Behind (2019) and Keeping Faith (2017).

In 2021 he starred as Colin Stagg in Channel 4 drama Deceit.

Young plays PC Ivan Barkas, the police officer assigned to protect Jodie.

Clare Dunne

Clare Dunne is an Irish actress and writer born in Dublin.

She is best known for Nice Night For It (2017), The Cherishing (2016) and The Donmar Warehouse's All-Female Shakespeare Trilogy (2017).

Dunne plays Detective Whelan in Witness, an officer investigating the central murder.

Sue Johnston

Sue Johnston as CathyCredit: Not known, clear with picture desk

Susan Johnston OBE is a 78-year-old English actress.

She is known for portraying Sheila Grant in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside, Barbara Royle in the BBC comedy The Royle Family, and Grace Foley in the BBC drama Waking The Dead.

She also played Gloria Price in ITV soap Coronation Street and Miss Denker in the ITV drama and films Downton Abbey.

She won the 2000 British Comedy Award for Best TV Comedy Actress.

Johnston plays Jodie’s mother Cathy in Witness – with whom she has a close-knit relationship with.

Cole Martin

Newcomer Cole Martin is an young actor actor who played a school pupil in mini-series Small Axe.

He put in a brilliant performanec in the lead role of 2022 drama My Name Is Leon and is back in Witness No 3 playing Kyle, Jodie's son.

When is Witness No 3 coming to Channel 5?

Witness No 3 is set to hit your scenes on Monday, July 18, at 9pm.

The rest of the series will air at the same time on consecutive nights, finishing on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
