Spoilers ahead for Part 1 of the Temptation Island Season 2 finale. After a turbulent journey on Temptation Island Season 2, Ashley G. and Rick…
Following last night’s explosive episode of Emmerdale, the lives of Moira, Nate and Cain all hang in the balance, after Cain’s revenge plot backfired dramatically.
After months of build-up, the tension between Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) and Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) came to a potentially fatal head last night after Cain’s plan to lure his wife and Nate onto a fishing trip to seek revenge for the affair they’ve been having took a shocking turn.
After Nate’s revelation that Cain is his father, things quickly escalated as the two were embroiled in a physical fight and Moira is trapped under water and struggling to free herself.
With the boat set to explode, all three characters’ lives are now at risk – but will any of them survive?
Who dies in Emmerdale?
With Moira knocked into the water and Nate admitting that he cannot swim, the only character able to save her is her husband Cain.
But with Cain furious at Moira for betraying him and having an affair with Nate, will he let her seal her own fate as she furiously struggles underwater so he can instead finish off his attack on Nate?
If Cain does choose to stay on the boat instead of jumping in after Moira after she fails to resurface, he will be in danger himself, as a fuel spillage on the boat and the cooking below deck present a ticking time bomb – with an explosion inevitable.
We don’t know at this stage if Moira, Nate and Cain survive the boat explosion and none of the actors have revealed if they will be leaving the soap or not.
However, talking about filming the dramatic scenes a few months ago, actress Natalie J Robb did reveal: ‘It was really exciting to do. Jeff and I both have slightly bloodshot eyes from filming but nothing eye drops aren’t fixing,’ suggesting that she filmed her scenes underwater with actor Jeff Hordley – so perhaps Cain does jump in after Moira after all…
Emmerdale airs the dramatic climax to the boat clash tonight, Wednesday 23 October, at 7pm on ITV.
