Lisa Vanderpump straight up refuses to fire her longtime employee — and demands a resignation instead.
After cheating on his girlfriend, treating her like you-know-what and then breaking up with her, Jax Taylor’s season on "Vanderpump Rules" ended with a resignation from SUR — the place he’s called home for the last 7+ years.
On Monday’s Season 6 finale, Jax sat down with Lisa Vanderpump for the first time since he stormed out of her presence with both middle fingers in the air to "sincerely apologize."
"Can I remind you of how you were sitting there going, ‘F-ck off! F-ck off!" Lisa said to Jax. "I feel that I’ve given you so many chances — I really mean that — and you have blatantly disrespected me."
"I really am sorry. I’ve ruined everybody’s life. I have. I don’t know what to do anymore," Jax replied tearfully.
"I’m not gonna go down this emotional road with you," Lisa said, wiping away her own tears.
"What would you like to see me do?" Jax asked.
"Grow the f-ck up," Lisa replied without hesitation.
"I ended a relationship that I love, and I’ve hurt so many f-cking people again when I thought I was on the right path," Jax said.
Lisa quickly interrupted, asking Jax what he expected her to do.
"I just want you to accept my apology," he said before adding, "If you want to fire me, that’s fine."
"You know what? I’m not gonna fire you," Lisa fired back. "I’m not gonna give you that satisfaction because I know what you’ll do with that. You’ll go over there and you’ll be like, ‘I’m fired and I’m the f-cking victim again.’ That will be you because it will always be about you. I’m telling you to get out of your own head and realize what you’re doing, so I’m asking you, why don’t you do the decent thing. How about that? Why don’t you do the decent thing? Why don’t you hand me your f-cking resignation and do what you should have done a long time ago?"
"OK, I’ll stop working for you," Jax said. "And I’m sorry I’ve put you through all this hell. I don’t deserve to be working for you. I don’t deserve it."
Jax later told Bravo cams, "I’m literally leaving everything behind: my girlfriend, my friends, so I have no idea where I’m gonna go from here. I worked at SUR for 7+ years, and now, that train has come to a stop, so I’m literally starting from scratch."
"Vanderpump Rules" Season 6 reunion begins Monday, May 7 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
