Once Upon a Time star reveals how the show returns to Storybrooke

A Once Upon a Time star has revealed how the show will return to Storybrooke.

In February, it was confirmed the fantasy drama would come to an end after its seventh season – which has served as a soft reboot, by changing the majority of its cast and even its setting.

Following the announcement, it was revealed a host of classic characters such as Robin Hood, Ariel and Peter Pan would be returning for the final two episodes and that the cast would be returning to Storybrooke for the grand finale.

In a recent interview, Alice in Wonderland actress Rose Reynolds finally revealed how the crew will end up back in Storybrooke after all, and a lot of it is thanks to Alice and her girlfriend Robin (Tiera Skovbye).

“Robin and I hijack the Rollin’ Bayou truck, throw a magic bean, and we arrive back in Storybrooke,” she told Variety. “But it’s not a happy welcome.”

In the same interview, Evil Queen actress Lana Parrilla teased a “beautiful ending” to the series, as well as revealing an unlikely happy ever after for her character.

“She definitely is happy in the finale and there is a beautiful ending to this series,” she added.

Once Upon a Time resumes its final season on Friday, March 2 at 8pm ET on ABC. Netflix airs the series in the UK.
