Bill and Melinda Gates shocked the world with the recent announcement of their divorce after 27 years of marriage. The billionaire couple shared the news…
The Daily Star reports that model Katie Green, 30, was “furious” to discover the dodgy photoshopping that saw GC’s head in place of her own.
A Source told the paper: “She furious and thinks it’s a total infringement.
“It’s a terribly bad photoshop. A child could see it’s a fake.
“You can tell they’ve just stuck Gemma’s head on Katie’s body.”
The images see Gemma posing in the same dress as model Katie, with their arms, hands and feet being held in exactly the same position.
The Star reports the pictures were taken by a photographer who works for Lily Limited during two shoots over the last six weeks, with the company being part of Fashion Book who supply the Gemma Collins Collection.
A rep for Gemma told them: “The images were used in good faith by Gemma.
“An external firm assured her that they owned the copyright and had commissioned the shoots.”
However the plot later thickened as The Mail Online have reported that she “regrets” tricking her fans into believing they were pictures of her body.
A source said: “Gemma has been so busy of late and didn't have time to do the shoot. Given that the model's body looks so similar to hers, she thought it would be OK.
“In hindsight, she wishes she hadn't done this to three of the images as she would never want to upset her fans.”
The images have now been removed from online, and an email seen by The Star reveals Lily Limited gave no permission to have the images altered.
The email said: “We would like to stress that in no capacity or at any time did we agree to, or give permission to anyone for our images to be photoshopped or altered in any way.
“As a company, we respect all body shapes and sizes and do not change or alter the models in our own images.
“As far as we are aware, this is an isolated incident and has not happened before. We are currently taking the necessary measures to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
