TOP Boy's Ashley Walters has become a grandfather at the age of 38 after his son welcomed a baby girl today.
The actor and father-of-eight took to Instagram to share the happy news that they had welcomed little Neveah Jade Walters into the world.
Beneath an image of the sweet newborn, Ashley, a former member of the So Solid Crew, wrote: "Wow. How good is God.
"Meet my granddaughter guys. Neveah Jade Walters… Well done Son. I’m so proud of you and T. More life."
The ex-rapper saw comments flood in from fans to congratulate him – including his Bulletproof co-star Noel Clarke.
"1st – Congrats bro. And congrats to the whole family. God is good," he wrote. "2nd – What a great birthday to have. 3rd – You’re a grandad now. You will never hear the end of this from me!!! Love ya man."
Ashely didn't reveal which one of his children was the parents, but he has sons Shayon, 20, and Panera, 17, with former partner Natalie Williams. The pair share a daughter, China, 19.
The artist also has daughter Antonia and Ashleigh from another woman, and shares seven-year-old Amaiya-Love, four-year-old River and a stepson with Danielle Isaie, his wife of seven years.
The TV star is a proud dad, and spoke on how he deals with fatherhood in a 2016 interview with The Guardian.
"I call myself an every dad," he said. "I have so many different things going on. It can be crazy, juggling it all. Both of us working, too.
"I've called two of my children this week, but I need to call the others. I find it a challenge sometimes to have all that responsibility."
Having spent time in prison in the past, Ashley was keen to tell his children the truth and told The Mirror he had always been honest with them.
"Since day one, I've always been honest about my life and the stuff I've done wrong," he explained. "I make mistakes, sometimes in front of them, I'm not going to lie.
"I always address it and tell them it was a mistake and something I'm not proud of."
This year, Netflix confirmed Top Boy would be back for another season after it's first-season release in 2019 saw it become one of Netflix's most-watched shows.
The series tells the story of Ashley's character Dushane, who is one of the leaders of East London's black market drug scene.
