The Apprentice engulfed in 'bullying' row as three candidates reduced to tears off camera by Aaron Willis

AN Apprentice candidate has been caught up in a bullying row amid claims he “acted aggressively” on this year’s show.

Former RAF man Aaron Willis, 38, is said to have taken part in “explosive scenes” with other contestants which were never shown.

Favourite Kathryn Burn, 29, was allegedly upset by a heated discussion with Aaron during the latest episode.

He is also claimed to have left Navid Sole, 27, and Harry Mahmood, 38, “taken aback” after the girls’ team beat the boys in the series’ first task.

A source said: “Things often get heated but some scenes Aaron was in were explosive.

"He has a military background and doesn’t pull many punches.

"Some candidates felt bullied. Three were visibly upset.

"The BBC hasn’t shown those scenes. Some people think that was deliberate.”

Aaron, of Chorley, Lancs, and Akeem Bundu-Kamara, 29, were fired by Lord Sugar in Thursday’s show after fluffing a challenge to make a healthy baby meal.

He said: “These accusations have no foundation and I find it disappointing that someone would decide to make these claims now.

"Conversations can get heated during the process, but at no point was my conduct not compliant with the clear guidelines put in place by the producers.”

A spokesman for the BBC show denied scenes were edited out to cover up bullying claims and said “robust” duty of care protocols existed to support candidates.
