Surprising love interest for Patrick Trueman revealed in EastEnders | The Sun
HOWIE Danes tries to get his son Denzel out of a sticky situation next week.
But in doing so, Patrick Trueman finds himself a new love interest as romantic feelings quickly grow in EastEnders.
Denzel Danes tried his luck at The Walford Young Writers Competition and is surprised when he's shortlisted in scenes due to air on BBC One.
His father Howie (Delroy Atkinson) is over the moon and takes him and his pal Nugget for a celebratory breakfast.
However, the lad portrayed by Jaden Ladega is soon embarrassed as he admits to Nugget that he stole the story from a TV show he once watched with Amy Mitchell.
He then opens up about his fear that his lie will be obvious during his interview with the Walford Gazette and Howie's pride diminishes when this is later proven to be the case.

Yet instead of pushing his son to opt for honesty, Howie goes along with Denzel's false narrative to save face in front of the journalist.
The youngster digs himself a bigger hole when he promises an extra interview with his grandparents who he insists are the inspiration behind his story.
Fearing Denzel may be in too deep, Howie turns to Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) who is no stranger to covering up his tracks with fibs.
The pair of men enlist the help of Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) and Vi Highway (Gwen Taylor) to act as Denzel's grandparents for the local newspaper.

But when Patrick refused, Sheree tricked him into signing the papers to sell off the salon, hurt and blinded by anger.
Sheree eventually left Walford in September, 2021, after her relationships with both Patrick and her son Isaac broke down.
However, in early 2022, Isaac learned his mother had suffered from a heart attack and he was ready to go to Trinidad to take care of her.
Kim Fox was never Sheree's biggest fan, much like her sister Denise, and was convinced Isaac was falling for a lie – but he still left Walford to join his mother.
Lola, Isaac's then-girlfriend, was furious he hadn't told her anything and was worried this would mean their relationship would have to come to an end.
Months later, and with Isaac gone to stay with Sheree, Lola moved on after rekindling her relationship with on-off flame Jay Brown and the pair tied the knot.
