Strictly's Nikita Kuzmin puts a supportive hand on partner Tilly Ramsay as they leave It Takes Two

STRICTLY Come Dancing partners Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin appeared in good spirits last night as they left series spin-off It Takes Two.

The dancing duo recently wowed audiences and judges with their Halloween week cha-cha-cha to Gary Paxton's hit Spooky Movies.

And as they left the BBC studios yesterday following their interview, Nikita was pictured supportively putting his hand on Tilly's back as she carried several bags.

As they waited for their car to arrive, the pro dancer placed his hand on the 19-year-old's arm in a friendly show of support following a long day of training and media appearances.

Tilly looked stylish for her TV stint in a leather mini skirt, complementing black silk blouse and a tartan print jacket.

While Nikita, 23, looked trendy in a polka dot shirt, black jeans and a long beige wool coat.

Their appearance last night comes days after Tilly's dad Gordon Ramsay had a cheeky dig at Nikita.

The celeb chef, 54, recorded a special message from his home kitchen which was played after the pair's Halloween week cha-cha-cha.

He said: "Tilly, Nikita, it's your dad, dancing instructor extraordinaire.

"That performance was exceptional, and then I think about the the 45-50 hours this week that you've put in training. Honestly, that cha-cha-cha, Nikita, that's what you and I have been discussing all month long."

But he couldn't resist ribbing Nikita for showing off a bit too much skin in his fancy dress.

He added: "One little issue, Nikita, you and I have been talking for many months now. You know Frankenstein always has his top button done up.

"Come on, man. Get rid of the six pack. It's a family show. Really?"

Last month, The Sun revealed that Tilly and Nikita had shut down Strictly curse rumours for good – after Tilly enjoyed a secret meeting with his girlfriend.

She was introduced to dancer Nicole Wirt in October when she visited London to spend time with Nikita.

The move will end speculation that has circulated about the nature of close friendship since the start of the BBC dancing show.

An insider said: “When Nikita’s girlfriend Nicole came to London she immediately visited him and Tilly. They got on like a house on fire and bonded over Nikita. Nicole also gave them some tips on their dancing.

“It couldn’t have gone better between them. There is a huge amount of trust needed between a couple when one of you is spending hours in the arms of another woman.

"And Nikita and Nicole have that trust – they’ve been together for five years.

“Nicole and Tilly have really hit it off and it seems all three will stay friends for good after the show.”
