Strictly Come Dancing’s Jamie Laing has heaped praise on girlfriend Sophie ‘Habbs’ Habboo.
The Made In Chelsea favourite, 32, has been dating his E4 co-star for around a year, with their relationship unfolding on screen.
Before the series began, the sweet entrepreneur – who is partnered up with Karen Hauer – was one of the favourites to be hit with the Strictly curse, and fielded many questions about whether their romance could survive.
It’s fair to say they have proved doubters wrong, and they have become stronger than ever throughout the competition.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk ahead of the semi-final, he opened up about the public opinion, and told us: ‘Listen, I think that my history isn’t the brightest thing when it comes to relationships and that’s probably been documented quite religiously.
‘But when you find someone in your life who is better than you, if you find anything in life right that you really want to keep hold of, it doesn’t matter what it is, a relationship, anything, you’d be a fool to let it go.
‘I’ve made mistakes in my past and let them go, and I’m pretty adamant that I will never make those mistakes ever again, because it really hurts you, it hurts everyone else.
‘Sophie is better than me in every single way, so to make a mistake in our relationship would be a catastrophic mistake to do, so that will never happen.’
Jamie and Sophie were met with controversy when they first started seeing each other on Made In Chelsea, as Habbs previously dated Sam Thompson.
They came through the drama closer than ever, and have been inseparable ever since.
The star has been unable to watch the majority of her beau’s Strictly performances in person due to lockdown guidelines, but has been glued to her screens on Saturdays.
‘She’s come and watched me dance twice which was amazing, when we were allowed to,’ Jamie continued.
‘Apart from that, she hasn’t been allowed to but she’s super supportive, she’s such an epic girlfriend and just an epic person in every single way.
‘I’m super blessed to have her.’
Couple goals or what?
