Kate Garraway surprised pal Ranvir Singh with a sweet message during Saturday night's Strictly Come Dancing semi-final.
The 53-year-old presenter wished her Good Morning Britain pal Ranvir "all the best" and told her that "whatever happens you are still a winner."
After Ranvir and Giovanni's waltz, host Claudia Winkleman introduced the video of Kate on the screen.
Viewers at home were overwhelmed with emotional as Kate made a special appearance on the BBC dancing show.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "That says a lot about Kate Garraway as a person to make time for Ranvir given what she’s going through with her husband’s recovery from Covid."
Another added: "Aww the lovely and divine @ kategarraway with such a fab message for @ ranvir01 .."
A third person posted: "Kate Garraway going through hell but still thinking of Ranvir Singh."
Standing in a studio, Kate said in the video: "Ranvir, the semi finals?
"This is unbelievable, I mean it's not though, is it, because you are unbelievable.
"It's just so fantastic watching you, you are amazing, we all know you are amazing and now the world knows it too.
"It's just brilliant, good luck, hope you get to the final but whatever happens you are the absolute winner of this series."
Ranvir replied: "We all know what she is going through, she typifies what everyone is going through this year.
"Actually it's so wonderful that she found the time to think of me.
That is her all over, so thank you so much to Kate, that meant so much. "
Kate has recently been absent from her GMB duties due to the immense struggle her and her family are going through.
Her husband, Derek Draper, is recovering from a horrific coronavirus battle that left him in a medically-induced coma.
