Stacey Solomon has openly discussed her lack of sex drive on Loose Women in the past. And, during an interview with acting legend Jane Fonda, boldly decided to ask whether her sex life would improve when she’s older.
The lucky 28-year-old was jetted off to Hollywood with fellow panelist Nadia Sawalha, 53 to interview her for new film Book Club.
Sat in a decadent room opposite Jane and the film’s three other leading women Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen, Nadia and Stacey began by gushing about the film.
Nadia then quipped: "Stacey says a lot on our show that she’s young and undersexed."
"You’re undersexed?" Jane questioned.
Stacey said: "Jane, well you said that you didn’t want to intimidate older women by making this movie have as much sex as what is spoken about. And I was thinking – I’m kind of intimidated by this movie, [people] having this much sex!
"Is there much hope for me when I get older?
"Of course," Candice Bergen piped up. "That’s what this movie is about."
"So you’re all really happy in your sex lives and I’ve got lots to look forward to?" Stacey asked.
"It’s important to say, for our audience of a certain age, there’s no reason you have to have sex, it should be a choice!" Jane replied. "If you choose to close up shop at a certain point down there then that’s fine too."
Back in January this year, Stacey admitted that she was worried that her sex drive was too low and said that she would rather have a snack than sleep with boyfriend Joe Swash.
She said: "I worry about my sex drive. I worry that mine’s not high enough. I’m 28 and it’s not high enough. I do love Joe…
"The problem is that girls my age and things you read for people in my stage of life is that everyone’s out there doing it every day and… mine’s not like that. I’d do it everyday if I could."
