A Question Of Sport's Matt Dawson has revealed he's split from his wife Carolin Hauskeller after 11 years together. The team captain urged his friends…
Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) walked free in Coronation Street in spite of the footage recovered form his laptop, but Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) has a cunning plan to destroy the abuser.
Tim (Joe Duttine) finally discovered that there was truth in what Sally (Sally Dynevor), Alya and Yasmeen (Shelley King) had been claiming about Geoff, as he witnessed his dad abusing Yasmeen on camera.
Yes, with Faye’s (Ellie Leach) assitance, they managed to recover footage of the sinister man making little of Yasmeen, and Tim was able to see his dad for who he truly is.
As a result, he disowned him — but in spite of Geoff being questioned by the police, he managed to evade justice once more.
Meanwhile, Tim was determined to track down Elaine (Paula Wilcox) by whatever means necessary in tonight’s episode (September 11), and therefore he searched high and low.
Alya delivered something of a devastating blow, however, when she revealed that because Sally acquired the footage illegally, they might not be able to use it in court.
With missing Elaine now being their only hope of putting Geoff behind bars and getting Yasmeen out, Aya designed a plan.
Yes, she revealed that she’s going to get Imran (Charlie de Melo) to call Elaine as a witness, as if she doesn’t turn up for the trial, the police will be then forced to investigate and take them seriously regarding the fact that she’s gone missing.
An investigation into Elaine’s disappearance would no doubt rattle Geoff, as they’d have to take Alya and Sally’s claims seriously, and therefore the truth would likely come out.
The question is: will Alya’s plan work?
Coronation Street continues Monday September 14 at 7:30pm & 8:30pm on ITV.
