Selling Tampa was teased earlier this year by Netflix, prior to the fourth season of Selling Sunset coming out. The creators have been keen to expand the real estate reality series and have done so with a new brokerage and cast members to focus on. There has been much excitement surrounding the new series and now the wait is over.

While Selling Sunset revolves around The Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles, Selling Tampa is completely different.

Apart from being about a group of real estate agents, who bicker with one another when they’re not selling luxury homes, the new series is very different.

Selling Tampa is set in Florida, following the professional and personal lives of those at Allure Realty.

The company, which is run by CEO Sharelle Rosado, employs an all-black, all-female team.

Will there be another series of Selling Tampa?

Selling Tampa season one came out in full on Wednesday, December 15 on Netflix.

All eight episodes are now ready for subscribers to binge-watch with Selling Sunset fans interested to see how the show compares.

But as of yet, there has been no talk of a second season of Selling Tampa.

This doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be more episodes to come though.

It is still very early days as Selling Tampa has just been released on Netflix.

The streaming service often likes to analyse customers’ reactions to the show and viewing ratings before committing to a renewal.

Having said this, it is clear that Netflix is dedicated to expanding the Selling franchise.

Therefore, it does seem more likely Selling Tampa will not end with just one season, allowing it time to grow a following like Selling Sunset did.

Tampa isn’t the only spin-off that Netflix has in store for subscribers either.

Selling the OC is another show in the pipeline, which will be a little closer to home for Selling Sunset fans.

The show, which will be set in Orange County, is going to follow the new branch of The Oppenheim Group.

A few members of the cast were introduced in the season finale of Selling Sunset season four.

This means there is potential for some crossovers as the two casts both work for Jason and Brett Oppenheim.

The difference here though is that the agents are a mix of male and female which in itself is bound to cause some drama.

Jason said: “I’m getting to know these people at the same time that the audience is … I honestly don’t even know what’s going to happen, which I guess is kind of exciting as well.”

Selling Tampa is available to watch on Netflix.
