Ryan Thomas leaves main CBB house on medical grounds

Ryan Thomas has left the main Celebrity Big Brother house on medical grounds.

The former Coronation Street star was separated from his fellow housemates on doctor’s orders.

The actor had been feeling poorly during the previous day and was seen lying in bed while Kirstie Alley tried to coax him out.

At the start of tonight’s show, the voiceover said: "Ryan is feeling unwell and on medical advice will be spending the day in the spare bedroom."

This was the same spare bedroom that Roxanne Pallett stayed in after the punchgate scandal.

Roxy refused to sleep in the same bedroom as Ryan, who she accused of ‘punching her repeatedly and deliberately’.

She asked Big Brother if she could stay in the spare bedroom for the night away from Ryan.

This came before she left the house and confessed that she "got it wrong" with her allegations.

Ryan’s illness meant he missed out on the mean tweets task, which caused a stir in the house.

Kirstie and psychic Sally Morgan were seen chatting in the bedroom about their absent friend.

Confessing how much she missed him, Kirstie said: "He’s my little cuddles friend."

Ryan was given plenty of fluids and looked on the road to recovery.

In a preview for tomorrow night’s show, Ryan was seen back to his usual self.

He had returned to the main house and was giggling with his fellow housemates in the living room.

Concerned CBB viewers took to Twitter with their well wishes for Ryan.

One viewer said: "Aw, poor Ryan I expect he needs some medicine! I hope he gets well soon"

Another added: "Hope Ryan is ok!! One of my fav to win!!"

A third said: "Get well soon Ryan"
