Reddit viewers in hysterics at Jeopardy contestant’s savage roast of rival

The hilarious moment a gameshow contestant tore his rival to shreds has left the world of Reddit in hysterics.

James Holzhauer, Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter were facing off on the “Greatest of All Time” edition of Jeopardy in the US.

The special edition pits the show’s top three winners of all time against each other in a mega-tournament.

As the clip shows, the first two contestants were going well in the opening stages and had racked up thousands of points on the leaderboard.

But for poor old Brad, nothing was coming his way and after the third round he still found himself with 0 points.

And James decided to grab the moment to send one of the most savage shut-downs ever seen on live TV.

After the winning pair’s scores were wiped from the board, James said: “Hey, Brad’s score’s still on there,” pointing to his 0.

Laughter erupts from behind the audience and a wry smile emerges on Brad’s face.

He then lifts his hands up – clearly unsure as to how he found himself in such a situation.

The clip was first spotted by YouTube user Sage211 today and has since received more than 20,000 upvotes since being posted to Reddit.
